Search Tweak offers tools and services to optimize and enhance search relevancy ("Services"). The specifics of the Services are detailed on our website and may be updated from time to time.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to use our Services in a lawful manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. Lawful use includes not violating any applicable laws or regulations.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to update this information as necessary to ensure it remains accurate and complete.

5. Subscription and Payment

Our Services are offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the subscription fees and any other charges incurred in connection with your account, in accordance with the terms and prices stated at the time of purchase. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality available through our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of Search Tweak or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written permission.

7. User Data & AI Judges

You retain your rights in data you provide, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. This includes endpoint configurations, search responses, and evaluation metrics. Regarding your data:

  • We proxy requests to your search endpoints. Responses are stored solely to display snapshots to human raters, run automated metrics, or process AI evaluations.
  • If you use the AI Judges feature, relevant evaluation data (prompts and search results) may be transmitted to third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) based on your configuration.
  • When connecting your own LLM API keys, your data transmission is governed by those providers' privacy policies and terms. SearchTweak encrypts your API keys at rest and does not use your search data to train its own AI models.
  • You can delete an evaluation at any time, which deletes them from active systems; backup copies are purged per our retention policy.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Search Tweak disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Services.

If you choose to use the open-source version of Search Tweak, please note the following:

  • Separate License: The open-source version is provided under the Functional Source License 1.1 (FSL-1.1-Apache-2.0). These Terms of Use do not apply to the open-source version.
  • Compliance with License: By using the open-source version, you agree to comply with the terms of the Functional Source License, which governs the use, modification, and distribution of the software.
  • No Liability: We are not liable for any issues, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the open-source version. Users are responsible for their own deployments and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
